Current Miss New York USA 2008 Danielle Roundtree has auditioned for American Idol 8. The beauty pageant queen is said to be making the rounds for a record deal without much success, thus hoping for a big break in this season's of the most popular reality TV show on Fox Network. As with most beautiful people, rumors are circulating that Danielle is just making use of the Idol platform to secure a possible recording contract after being turned down by others. If that is true, then she'd still have to make sure she does well in front of a national audience.
